Inspiration comes from exposure to beauty in so many places, whether it’s as splendid as a striking landscape or as mundane as a meticulously plated meal, a quilt my mother made generations ago or a painting I saw at a recent museum visit. My art is constantly evolving.
Anita works at a studio in Tampa, Florida where she lives with her husband Gary. Though she has made her living primarily in restaurants, catering and culinary education, she has always maintained a creative outlet - drawing, papermaking, throwing pottery, jewelry-making, quilting. Fused glass has become her passion since discovering the medium in 2015 and the journey continues.
